Themed Ranges Spring/Summer

As we approach the new season, the temptation arises to update our homes, rather than change them entirely. Take inspiration from our latest new home trends and get ready for Spring Summer 2020.

Green House

Pinterest has announced its top trends for 2020, revealing that our homes are becoming increasingly influenced by exotic global style.

This beautiful botanical trend is a testament that our love of wildlife and nature continue to grow.

Greens mixed with softer shades of yellow, blush pink and earthy browns – reaffirms the ever-popular house plant trend. Our homes continue to be an oasis of plants and lush and leafy decor, as the idea of bringing the outside in grows and grows.

Foliage, wood, metal, brass and leather combine for a neutral, cool and relaxed vibe. This emphasises our expanding interest in the ideas of relationships between plant life and human well-being. The exotic and travel.

A diverse celebration of globally-inspired patterns, decorative ornaments and centre pieces, and animals and wildlife, create an eclectic fusion.

Texture is increasingly being used to add interest to rooms. Cushions and throws are an obvious way of doing this, but incorporating textures with plants, prints and knick-knacks brings decor bang up to date.

Bloom

Piles of comforting cushions, throws and tactile textiles make any space instantly inviting. Whilst layers of fresh lilacs, neutral greys and the softest of pinks bring the first hints of Spring.

There’s a huge emphasis on natural pigments this season. Teaming warmer pinks and browns with cool shades of grey creates a relaxed and neutral scheme – making this trend incredibly versatile.

Florals are back - mixed alongside bird motifs and patterns, and pretty plains in all things across the home.

Shades of crocus, lavender, rose and buff-pink marry up with matte metallics. Silver becomes a less shiny pewter. Stone and clay textures take centre stage, reaffirming the desaturated colour palette.

Inspired by the ever-growing botanical trends, the green shoots are starting to bloom.
